A Day in the Life at 2 Months...

Time flies...Kai turned 2 months old today. He has been a very good boy and growing big and strong. His current stats are 13lbs 1oz and 24 1/4 inches long, putting him at the 75% percentile for weight and the 90% percentile for height. We don't know where he's getting the tall genes from because neither mom nor dad are very tall.

He started smiling about a week ago and his favorite place to smile is on the changing table--not sure why but we'll take them wherevever we can get them. He also loves his swing and often takes long naps there. He has been sleeping in his crib for awhile now and is beginning to sleep longer stretches--we can usually get a 6 or 7 hour sleep out of him. He also has started a bedtime routine that includes a bath--another favorite activity of his these days.

Lola and Kai still don't have much to say to each other, but Lola is beginning to take an interest in him. We still haven't figured out if Kai has noticed the brown thing hanging around all day, but we're sure that soon enough they'll be best buds.
